While you are in Bollywood comparisons are bound to happen and one should know to take them in their stride. But looks like Poonam Pandey doesn’t like the recent comparisons being made with Sunny Leone and has actually asked the media to stop it! Ouch!

In recent times, Poonam’s publicity
has gone quite a bit over board and looks like the comparisons with
Sunny Leone are adding to them! Poonam debuts in Bollywood as an actress
with her film ‘Nasha’, this Friday.
"I am tired of this comparison. I don't know why people compare me with
Sunny Leone. I'm here to act and you will see me acting in the film.
There are intimate scenes in the film, but there is also a love story.
I'm not a porn star. Please don't compare me with Sunny Leone," said a
frustrated Poonam during a recent interview.
Talking about her film ‘Nasha’,
Poonam said "So far people have only seen my bold pictures, now they
will see me acting in 'Nasha', and I assure they will be completely
satisfied with my performance in the film."
The movie has been gaining publicity and criticism for its bold
promotions and the erotic context of the film – a teenage boy falling
for an older woman. Directed by Amit Saxena, the film is all set to
release on the 26th of this month.
The 22 year old actress also drew a lot of anger from the crowd as she
said “I am doing a social service by wearing fewer clothes as people
enjoy a lot by watching me in these dresses." Urm, now we aren’t too
sure how this counts for social service, but Poonam sure seems to be
going at her ‘social work’ in full gusto, dressing up in outfits that
are more and more revealing by the passing day!
‘While in Bollywood there would be comparisons’, we tell Poonam and
to that she says "In future, I would like to compare myself with the
actresses like Rekha, Madhuri and Kajol." Now, someone needs to tell
Poonam that being compared with these heroines would mean more of acting
and not so much of skin show. *wink
